03 Dec Textured Burgundy Winter Wedding | Graystone Quarry
Christine and Robert’s textured burgundy winter wedding at Graystone Quarry has us swooning from its timeless blooms, rich colors & rustic elements. All combine to create a classically elegant look for their day.
The bridal bouquet included white and blush roses, white anemones, and large burgundy blooms. Christine’s bouquet was the only arrangement to feature burgundy, to help keep her front and center. She was dressed in a fit and flare gown with intricate lace details and off-the-shoulder sleeves, which she paired with a simple knee-length veil. Meanwhile, her maids wore mismatched burgundy dresses, for a rich winter look.
For their ceremony, the pair opted to say ‘I do’ with the large windows open and a breeze blowing through the venue. The cross at Graystone Quarry was decorated with a voluminous arrangement of blush and white roses, and fresh greenery. The aisle was lined with magnolia leaves and pillar candles in glass vases, and the pews were pinned with simple clusters of berry and twine.
At their reception, flowers were the decoration of choice. Strands of greenery, dotted with candles, lined the long banquet dinner tables. While the bride and groom’s table featured a luxe arrangement that dripped towards the floor. These pieces were kept light, with white and blush roses. However, burgundy flowers were sprinkled into the mix for some much-needed dimension.
It was a pleasure to work with Christine and Robert to bring their wedding day vision to life – congrats to you both! And a special shoutout to Tracy Brewington Photography for sharing the beautiful pictures with us!
