17 Nov Chic Rust Wedding | Riverwood Mansion
Bold orange blooms and rich greenery are a trendy color combination for a fall garden wedding! Even more so at the beautiful Riverwood Mansion in Tennessee. If you’ve been dreaming of a chic rust wedding, keep reading to get inspired by the details from Nichole and John’s elegant outdoor nuptials.
A Chic Bride-to-Be!
Nichole was a beautiful bride in a fit-and-flare wedding dress. It featured a V-neckline, a long train, and an intricate pearl pattern that covered the entirety of the gown. She paired it with a cathedral-length veil and minimal jewelry. Orange dahlias, burgundy scabiosa blooms, and peach garden roses made up her bridal bouquet. It was tied together with several strands of velvet ribbon in various shades of orange and green. John wore a plain black suit and tie, complete with a burgundy scabiosa bloom for a boutonniere.
Luxe Rust Wedding Party
The wedding party was a colorful bunch, with the bridesmaids in vibrant rust-colored dresses. Velvet lent an extra-luxe look to the party, while the bold color made them stand out against the lush garden. They held smaller versions of Nichole’s bridal bouquet with identical ribbons. The groomsmen were also dressed to match the groom. The real star of the show, however, was the pair’s sweet pup who rocked a floral collar.
A Fall Garden Ceremony
The pair’s ceremony took place in the garden, surrounded by dark fall foliage. The metal wedding arbor was decorated with matching greenery and an asymmetrical arrangement made of orange and burgundy blooms. The aisle was bare, lending to a ceremony that was simple but oh-so-intimate!
A Romantic Rust Reception
Afterward, the two and their guests retired to the tented reception space. Their chic rust wedding palette popped against the white drapery! Gold serving ware and orange linens sat on top of crisp white tablecloths. Centerpieces consisted of a mix of orange textured blooms and burgundy spray, for both garlands and arrangements in vases. Overhead, greenery-covered chandeliers lent an extra-romantic touch. Bistro lights cast a romantic glow on the party below. It was a beautiful celebration and our team is wishing Nichole and John a lifetime of happiness!
