Hosted in the lush garden at Riverwood Mansion, Alexandra and John’s elegant formal wedding was oh-so dreamy. It was a gorgeous day in Nashville, starring a timeless palette and bright floral decor. To get inspired for your own outdoor wedding or modern affair, keep reading to see the intimate details of their day.
The Couple
Alexandra was a stunning bride in a lace A-line wedding dress. It featured an intricate bodice with a sheer v-neckline and a long lace-trimmed train. She paired it with a cathedral-length veil and a simple white and green wedding bouquet. John looked oh-so handsome in his Navy dress whites! The gold details perfectly suited their formal nuptials.
Formal Wedding Party
To match the formal theme, the wedding party was dressed to the nines. The girls wore mismatched black bridesmaid dresses and carried smaller versions of Alexandra’s bridal bouquet. Complete with bright white roses and lots of greenery. The groomsmen wore their appropriate formal wear, from a classic black suit to military dress blues.
Simple Church Wedding Ceremony
The pair hosted their ceremony at the stunning Cathedral of the Incarnation. This beautiful church needs absolutely no decor, and Alexandra and John opted to let the building speak for itself. Instead, their formal attire provided the perfect amount of contrast against the bright gold and ivory walls.
All White Tented Wedding Reception
Following the vow exchange, the two hosted their reception at Riverwood Mansion beneath a gorgeous white tent. White drapery, bistro lights, and an elegant chandelier brought the space to life. Tables were dressed up with white linens and black Chiavari chairs. At the center of each table was a luxe arrangement of florals, complete with fluffy white blooms and bright greenery. Gold accents tied the formal look together! It was a joy to be a part of Alexandra and John’s special day and our team wish them the best!
