12 Jan Luxe Rustic Romance with Fête Nashville
Partnering with Sara Fried of Fête Nashville is always such a dream come true, and this wedding was no different. We were SO excited to help design the florals for Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson and her sweetheart Andrew East! The couple opted for a rustic look, embracing the Tennessee countryside backdrop for their Franklin, TN wedding. The bride walked down the aisle, entering with her dad through walnut ceremony doors covered in cascading florals, overgrown branches, and greenery. She met her groom on a fairytale altar of arched windows, decorated to match the ceremony doors with cut logs, moss & candles covered the ground.
The lush feeling of the ceremony carried over to the reception where Bug & Bro (the newlywed’s sweet nicknames for each other!) dined awash in candlelight under hanging flowers. And every gymnast bride needs a cake nearly as tall as her – we love the rustic feels of the naked cake adorned in more flowers. The entire day was an absolutely gorgeous event.
