We do love a backyard wedding. Often intimate celebrations, Alex and David went big with a timeless yet extravagant affair close to home. Get inspired when you see the details from their luxe backyard wedding in Franklin, Tennessee, featuring lily of the valley and orchids.
Alex looked stunning in a classic fit and flare wedding dress, with a straight-across neckline and off-the-shoulder sleeves. She paired it with a cathedral-length veil, and a beautiful bouquet starring lily of the Vvalley. For a little flair, it also included fluffy white feathers! David looked handsome in a black tuxedo with a bow tie. He was pinned with a white and green boutonnière.
Their wedding party was oh so trendy, with the girls dressed in mismatched champagne-colored bridesmaid dresses. They carried textured bouquets featuring golden glory astilbe. The groomsmen matched David perfectly, except they did not have boutonnières.
For the ceremony, the two decorated an elegant white gazebo in an array of white blooms. Including orchids, hydrangeas, roses, and baby’s breath. To complement the flowers covering the arbor, we also created a luxe ground arrangement with lots of greenery. It perfectly tied in the lush wooded background! Meanwhile, the aisle way was lined with white delphinium. We also created tall arrangements to line the stair entryway, along with greenery.
Following the ceremony, they retired to a nearby patio set up for a cocktail hour and seated dinner. For the cocktail tables, we created small arrangements using white roses. The dinner tables featured voluminous arrangements of hydrangeas and orchids, sitting atop black geometric stands. Of course, we can’t forget the sweetheart table, which starred a cascading arrangement. It was a pleasure to be a part of Alex and David’s big day and we wish them all the best!
