06 Oct Terracotta & Pampas Grass Wedding | Riverwood Mansion
Fluffy pampas grass, bold orchids, and king proteas – these were the stars of Stacy and Mike’s bohemian wedding. Hosted at Riverwood Mansion, it was a gorgeous day featuring a moody palette of terracotta, burgundy, and green. Take a look at the details of their trendy pampas grass wedding, to get inspired for your own Nashville nuptials.
The Couple
Stacy looked stunning in a unique bohemian-inspired wedding dress. With a fit and flare silhouette, it featured thin straps, a sheer deep V neckline, and all-over lace. She carried an oversized bouquet, made of tufts of pampas grass, king proteas, anthurium, and greenery. Mike opted for a dark grey suit paired with a floral tie that complemented their moody wedding palette.
The Wedding Party
The bridesmaids wore mismatched velvet dresses in the most beautiful rust color. They carried smaller bouquets made of the pampas grass, Juliet garden roses, and dark greenery. The groomsmen dressed to match the groom, all the way down to their terracotta ties and pampas boutonnieres.
The Aisle & Backdrop
The ceremony took place in the garden at Riverwood Mansion, starring luxe floral decorations. The aisle was lined with fluffy bundles of pampas grass wrapped in velvet terracotta-colored ribbon. However, the real star of the ceremony was the luxurious wedding backdrop. Dark greenery and white drapery covered the metal ceremony arbor topped off with large asymmetrical floral arrangements featuring pampas grass, mustard roses, king proteas, and anthurium.
The Reception
The moody color palette carried over to the tented reception, starting with their welcome sign – dripping with bold roses and dark greenery. A mix of candles and greenery dotted with fresh blooms decorated the reception tables, round and banquet. Even the cake featured bold terracotta florals! It was a pleasure to be a part of Stacy and Mike’s bohemian wedding and our team wishes them the best!
