25 Feb Romantic Red and White Wedding | Pleasant Hill Mansion
Mia and Jordan romantic red and white wedding hosted by the bride’s mother at Pleasant Hill Mansion at The Governors Club in Brentwood, Tennessee. Featuring oh-so-chic floral arrangements made with red, pink, and white blooms, it was a stunning event we won’t soon forget!
Mia looked darling in an a-line wedding dress with a sheer v-neckline and grand cathedral train. It was complemented by a rhinestone sash and headpiece, for a bridal look that was breathtaking. For her bridal bouquet, we created an arrangement of white and red roses, pink proteas, and the Serruria Florida protea – also known as the ‘blushing bride’! Jordan wore a classic black suit and bow tie, topped off with a single red rose.
Their wedding party wore a classic pairing of burgundy bridesmaid dresses and black suits. Mia’s girl gang carried bouquets that matched the bride’s, only a little smaller in size. The textured arrangements and their flowing off-the-shoulder dresses lent a look that was romantic and stood out against the lush outdoor ceremony setting.
Aside from the bridal bouquets, our next favorite arrangements to create were those for the outdoor event space. The two exchanged vows beneath a small gazebo that we decorated with bright and voluminous bouquets. Some arrangements were placed atop mirrored pedestal stands, while others were attached at the top of the gazebo. Together, they created a beautiful frame around the bride and groom while they said: “I Do”!
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds moved to a clear reception tent with their guests to celebrate! With their family and friends, they enjoyed dinner and danced well into the night. Our favorite detail however was the cake decorated with icing flowers to match our arrangements! It was an honor to be a part of Mia and Jordan’s special day, and we wish them a long and happy life together.
