01 Dec Urban Desert Style Shoot at ACME Feed & Seed
Prepare to SWOON over this fabulous southwest-inspired styled shoot we recently did at Acme Feed & Seed. Our florals were inspired by the vivid colors of serape blankets, with deep red garden roses and dahlias, golden yarrow, fiery orange montbretia, succulents, and astilbe, with blush Sahara roses and eucalyptus greens for a soft, romantic contrast.
This shoot was all about creating dramatic focal points, like the Marakesh screen draped in florals in the lounge, the stag skull adorned with greenery and florals at the center of the head table, and the floral-covered chandeliers over the cake display. But the real show-stopper was the ceremony altar, and the gorgeous cattle skull draped in lace and floral garlands!
All of the details came together beautifully, especially the surprise proposal for our model couple, Magen and Lyndi. Magen decided the style shoot was the perfect opportunity to pop the question. We were happy to incorporate it into the day! It took a lot of careful coordination and a few stall tactics, but Lyndi said yes! The beautiful moment would not have been possible without the collaboration of our talented “friendors”: Bright Event Productions, Southern Events, Dulce Desserts, Designs in Paper, and Photographix.
