07 Jul Bold Whimsical Wedding | Country Music Hall of Fame
Erika and Andrew’s Nashville wedding was downright breathtaking! With bold whimsical wedding flowers, they took uniqueness to a whole new level. Get inspired by their colorful wedding ceremony at the Wightman Chapel, followed by an over-the-top reception at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The Couple
Erika was the dreamiest bride in a detailed trumpet wedding dress. It featured an illusion neckline, long sleeves, and a statement train. Featuring intricate embellishments, the gown included pearls, rhinestones, and floral appliques. Her wedding veil was equally stunning, with details that matched her gown. But the pièce de résistance was her whimsical bridal bouquet, made with bold blooms in just about every color. Meanwhile, the groom rocked a classic tuxedo paired with a sleek black bow tie, topped off with a boutonniere made of small pink and blue blooms.
An Elegant Wedding Party
The wedding party was dressed to match, with the bridesmaids in matching classic black gowns. They too carried colorful bouquets, made with white ranunculus, pink peonies, and orange garden roses. Andrew’s groomsmen matched him to a tee, down to their bow ties and bright boutonnières.
The Church Wedding Ceremony
Their wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful Wightman Chapel at Scarritt Bennett. Although minimal, their floral wedding decor made a statement, perfectly contrasting the dark wood of the alter. The aisle seats were decorated with small arrangements tied with a large white ribbon. For a backdrop, an array of colorful blooms were placed on the alter, and paired with floating candles in cylindrical vases. It was an oh-so-dreamy setting in which to say “I do!”
The Downtown Nashville Wedding Reception
Afterward, Erika and Andrew retired with the party to the Country Music Hall of Fame for their reception. Here, tables were outfitted in deep green table linens and featured small colorful floral arrangements in vases. In the center of the room, a banquet table was set up for the wedding party and starred an overhead arrangement that dripped with fresh greenery and bright blooms. The newlywed’s table was dressed up with an oversized design made of the same garden roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. It was a pleasure to be a part of this pair’s special day and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
