16 Dec Chic Ivory and White Wedding | The Cordelle
Audrey and Wyatt’s wedding at The Cordelle was truly timeless! This stately venue was complemented with luxe florals in a neutral color palette, for a simple yet modern look. Keep reading to get inspired by the details from their chic ivory and white wedding in Downtown Nashville.
The Couple
Audrey wore the most beautiful white column wedding dress. It featured a classic scoop neckline, lace short sleeves, and a long train. She paired it with a matching veil and carried a stunning bouquet of white long stem roses. Wyatt opted for a classic black suit with a black and white bowtie. He was also pinned with a large white rose.
The Wedding Party
They had a rather large wedding party, all of whom donned formal attire. The girls wore elegant mismatched bridesmaid dresses in black and carried simple clusters of baby’s breath. Meanwhile, the groomsmen matched Wyatt – except for their boutonnieres, which consisted of a small bundle of baby’s breath.
The Wedding Ceremony
The two hosted their ceremony in the elegant Victorian event venue. This charming home was a cozy setting for the pair to exchange vows, with warm brick walls and tall ceilings. Here we decorated the rafters with large bundles of baby’s breath. It beautifully contrasted the black ceiling without overtaking the small space.
The Garden Cocktail Hour
Afterward, their family and friends retired to the lawn where a white open-air tent awaited. This elegant space featured soft white drapery and globe lights strung all about. The cocktail tables were each set with a glass vase of baby’s breath and white stock. There was also a sprinkling of tall arrangements, with the same bundle of baby’s breath and white stock but atop silver stands.
The Reception
For dinner, the same Victorian room used for the pair’s ceremony was transformed. With the same baby’s breath bundles dangling overhead, but with long banquet tables taking the place of the ceremony seating. These tables were dressed in crisp white linens and small arrangements of baby’s breath, surrounded by a mix of pillar candles.
